According to https://issuetracker.springsource.com/browse/STS-3602, which is closed *Won't Fix*, this problem still exists w/ SpringIDE 3.4 (included in JBDS 7.1.0.CR1 version of Central), so this may still be a problem for JBDS 7.x (and might end up being fixed in a later SpringIDE release, to be included in JBDS 8.
