There's a new service release of the BPMN2 Modeler available here:

http://download.eclipse.org/bpmn2-modeler/updates/kepler/1.0.1/

This one fixes some glaring bugs in the 1.0 release. Whenever you get ready to do your next integration build, please go ahead and pull the editor from this update site.
BTW, there is also an online help plugin as part of this service release, which you'll want to include - it's part of the editor feature and should get pulled in with that.
