I am resolving this issue because these are all hadled while  I have been revamping the editor for the plugin support. 

Preferences pane no longer has an edit button.

Plugins is completely removed as cordova uses features instead of plugins

Features add button fires up the plugin discovery wizard

Access pane no longer has edit button and the style of the add window is synchronized to preferences.
