Indeed, it is a refresh issue. F5 resolved.

Still an issue that after selecting "remove plug-in", the "progress" window opens and closes immediately. Need to resolve this somehow. Could the progress information just go into the standard Eclipse "Progress" tab? Then there would be no need for the additional window.
