BTW, if you're looking for a use case where remediation SHOULD be a solution, see https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-2812?focusedCommentId=12824815&page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel#comment-12824815 where the workaround when remediation doesn't work is to update JBDS to the latest before proceeding. But that use case SHOULD expose whether or not remediation is now being presented as a workaround.
