[~maxandersen], [~dgolovin], [~gercan] I have created 2 PR for that issue: 
- *jbosstools-browsersim* - https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-browsersim/pull/1
- *jbosstools-aerogear* -  https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-aerogear/pull/34

Tested on Windows, Ubuntu and Mac Os.
I also would like to propose creating a separate *cordovasim*  jira component.
