The error still occurs. Also during the installation of Spring IDE there is a issue (Missing requirement: Mylyn Tasks UI 3.11.0.v20140304-0241 (org.eclipse.mylyn.tasks.ui 3.11.0.v20140304-0241) requires 'bundle org.eclipse.mylyn.commons.notifications.core 1.0.0' but it could not be found) - I had to install Mylyn first, then Spring IDE (this was not necessary before this Spring IDE release). Run in JBDS 8.0.0.Beta1 resping-a (build B82).
