I thought you are talking about 'platform' in context "https://wiki.eclipse.org/User_Interface_Guidelines#Capitalization" where in Guideline 1.6 it says: "... Capitalize the first letter of the first word, and any *proper names* such as the word Java." and 'Platform' is a proper name.
