Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBDS-3014:
-------------------------------------------
Rob - you have to provide a bit more details.
What is not starting ?
What version of Java ?
What error do you get ?
What are the steps you are doing ?
JBoss Developer Studio 7 and 8, runs on my Mavericks on version Java 6 and 7 without errors and I just run java -jar <installer.jar>.
Also, sounds like you are *not* actually running with a java SDK but with the default JRE java - this should definitely also work for installing and running devstudio but i.e. JBoss EAP requires a JDK to run.
Thus please provide a bit more details so we can know what you are doing and try to reproduce - thank you.

> The JVM shared library "/Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/../lib/server/libjvm.dylib"
> does not contain the JNI_CreateJavaVM symbol.
> This prevents it from starting.
