Web SQL API is implemented on pure js - JBIDE-13813. The main part is implemented via local storage,  which is not implemented for JavaFX 2.2 (JDK 7) WebView - https://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-29584. So there is no way to enable that feature with that JavaFX version. However it's fixed for Lombard (JDK 8). I have made a minor fix for BS/CS to make it work for JDK 8
