As long as it's done on/before that date (next Thursday!) and it applies to the forthcoming jbosstools-4.2.x branch I don't care when it's done. I suspect doing it BEFORE you branch is less work than waiting until after code freeze and having to bump plugins & features in both master and 4.2.x branch.

OTOH you could decide to bump master to 3.7.0 at the same time, in which case it's better to make this change AFTER branching for 4.2.x. Make sense?
