[~maxandersen], are you sure we need this for JBDS 8.0.1? That is supposed to be bug fixes only and this most certainly is a new feature. I'm working with Rob, trying out his fix and we keep hitting various problems, some of them requiring fixes upstream. I'm not very happy with pushing this to 4.2.1.
