Mylyn Docs Wikitext provides support for Markdown.
[~burrsutter]: Can you please install it from  http://download.eclipse.org/mylyn/snapshots/nightly/docs/ and give it a try? If it seems good and stable enough, we could simply include the necessary features in JBDS.
