I tried to debug this step by step and the biggest slowdown was at line 1180 in DiscoveryViewer (https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-central/blob/jbosstools-4.2.x/central/plugins/org.jboss.tools.central/src/org/jboss/tools/central/editors/xpl/DiscoveryViewer.java#L1180). This line took about 20 seconds (from overall ~30 sec).
