How long time is a "MUCH" ? :) If it is more than a few seconds extra then we should still have the separate dedicated site generated.

I've opened https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=455111 to have WTP track their broken file which contains borked and outofdate urls and composite sites.

About the install error then this does not look like us having to add an IU, it looks like we have an old dependency or version range that does not work with mars. That should be fixed - and that is why we shouldn't put non-tested stuff into public url updatesites :)
