The one and only Forge Console View has a drop down menu in the toolbar that enables you to switch between F1 and F2. Currently F2 is not yet included in JBDS 8.0 but you will see it if you install the 'Forge 2 Extensions'. I'll provide a screenshot that illustrates it.
