I'm not sure I understand what you mean.
This UI allows to do operation in bulk. User selects one of the available actions, and then click "Install" button (which should probably be called "Apply", and all selected operations get performed. Having push button would allow that as push button imply immediate actions (so individual operations).
Where would be these "Update" or "Uninstall" button? We could think of a "Select All for Updates" button.
