The prototype of an Arquillian XML editor is placed at https://github.com/snjeza/arquillianEditor.
The project contains a plugin (without a feature, an update site ...). 
To include it into the arquillian component, we have to add the Sapphire framework to our target platform.
Currently, it is possible to test the plugin only within PDE. The plugin doesn't require any JBT plugins, but the Sapphire framework. I have tested the 0.7 version(http://download.eclipse.org/sapphire/0.7/repository), but the latest 8.0 version (not 0.8) would also need to work.
The editor doesn't update pom.xml. That feature can be added as a validator/quick fix.
