This was already documented in JBDS 7.1 see: https://access.redhat.com/site/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_JBoss_Developer_Studio/7.1/html-single/User_Guide/index.html#Use_Project_Examples_when_Working_Offline

QE: please verify if this still works with JBDS 8.
