[~ldimaggio], actually there is a dead-end with javaFx on Linux. I guess you are aware of the gtk 3 and eclipse bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=420182 . The problem is that JavaFx is compiled against gtk2. I have created the issue for the JFX team - https://javafx-jira.kenai.com/browse/RT-35264 , but they are not going to fix it in the nearest future. So, there will be no JavaFx web engine for BrowserSim / CordovaSim in the 8.0.0 GA
