1) Installer or BYOE? Installer 
2) Existing or fresh workspace? Fresh
3) Java?  OpenJDK 1.7.0_25 (now 45) 64 bit
4) L64 (as noted in environment - currently on Fedora 19)
5) Spring related? I'll do some investigation with 8.0 alpha1, stay tuned
