Burr Sutter commented on JBIDE-15932:
-------------------------------------

Is there a way to display JS errors in CordovaSim? At this moment, it is "rare" for the Eclipse editor itself to indicate there is an error and if CordovaSim does not have a way to display the JS error then the end-user has no idea why the code is not executing. Normally the code in question is in deviceready as that is where the end-user should place most of their event triggers/hooks and other setup code.

> When a cordova application is launched the console.log calls are not displayed on Eclipse console (or anywhere else). CordovaSim needs a place to display the logs either within eclipse or on the Ripple console so the user can be notified about errors happening early on.
> Just using firebug or similar would not solve this issue since it is not started early enough.
