* Build jbdevstudio-product once, with "mvn clean install" (~17 mins)
* Install fresh Eclipse Luna R 
* Help > Install new > jar:file://path/to/jboss-devstudio-8.0.0.Beta2-v20140617-2058-B166-installer-standalone.jar!/ > uncheck "show categorized" > search for "Branded Product" > install 
(takes only a couple minutes)
* COLD restart (shut down completely) and instead of launching ./eclipse, launch ./jbdevstudio
* Window > Prefs > Update > Avail software sites > file:///path/to/jbdevstudio-product/site/target/repository > OK
* Help > Check for updates > update your JBDS to the latest "JBoss Developer Studio (Branded Product)", version 8.0.0.Beta3-v<your-build-timestamp>

+1 to apply this PR. Other stuff in the .inf file can be discussed/removed via another JIRA.
