Nick Boldt commented on JBDS-3091:
----------------------------------

When bits are released to the Customer Portal (CSP) via release-engineering, they are also copied here:

http://download.devel.redhat.com/released/JBossDS/

Additionally, we have this folder too, for staging:

http://download.devel.redhat.com/devel/candidates/JBDS/

---

Worthy of note, these are the same:

http://download.devel.redhat.com/released/JBossDS/JBDS-8.0.0-Beta2/
http://download.devel.redhat.com/devel/candidates/JBDS/JBDS-8.0.0-Beta2/

But these are different:

http://download.devel.redhat.com/released/JBossDS/JBDS-7.1.1/
http://download.devel.redhat.com/devel/candidates/JBDS/JBDS-7.1.1/

Issues to consider getting fixed:

* refactoring: s/JBossDS/jbdevstudio/g and s/JBDS/jbdevstudio/g (or rhjbdevstudio? or whatever the standard product convention should be?)
* more strict cleanup of devel candidates once a milestone is released to public
* merge of content in JBDS-7.1.1 candidate, which is actually the JBDS IS 7.0.x update site zips into the JBDS-7.1.1 release folder

> {quote}btw. what became of using http://download.devel.redhat.com/ for long term storage ? I forget why we still don't just have a devstudio dir there instead of this spread across temporary systems (www.qa/wallace). {quote}
