Denis Golovin commented on JBDS-3026:
-------------------------------------

[~jmurphey], when 'Default Java VM' is selected path is disabled, but it should be editable after changing radio group selection to 'Specific Java VM' option.

Probably 'Default Java VM' is not really good name for JVM used to run installer, feel free to suggest right one. I tested on mavericks and it seems works as expected for me, I found only minor problem, validation is done without trimming spaces out of selected path. It is the only case when path tat looks right reported as invalid.

> Max OS X, universal installer, step 4 - choose JVM
> When installer is launched from command line, the Default JVM path is correct - /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_55.jdk/Contents/Home
> ^ great :D
> When installer is launched by double-clicking .jar file, the Default JVM path is not right - /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home
> ^ can we provide a better default value when installer is launched by this method?
