Hey Rob -
     Yes - the JVM Monitor notion of a JVM on a remote host is supplanted by the JMX remote connection.  I'd say we should stick with one for clarity sake.  I guess we could add an interlude for the ConnectionWrapper/IActiveJVM.  Can we Jira each enhancement separately? - that way we can weigh each on its own merits.
