On Jul 28 when I pushed JBDS 8 Beta3 to production & updated the marketplace entry, I didn't have any problem installing ADT from within JBDS BYOE Beta3 (installed from Marketplace into Eclipse eclipse-jee-luna-R-linux.gtk.x86_64.tar.gz

In fact, ALL the features/plugins in Central and on the EA site could be installed. 

I can close this as fixed / cannot reproduce / out of date but perhaps [~vpakan] wants to verify he no longer sees the issue?
