Fred Bricon commented on JBIDE-16303:
-------------------------------------
Here's a screencast showing the new option in the "Run/Debug As" menus :
http://screencast.com/t/HuweRx4BC4d
I chose *clean verify* instead of *clean package* because it goes one step further and execute integration tests after the package phase, if such tests exist.
When you have no ITs this is equivalent to *clean package* then.
Since the "Run/Debug As" menus are largely bloated already, I added an option to disable the new menu, under Preferences > JBoss Tools > JBoss Maven Integration.
What do you think?

> When building and importing projects, every so often something goes sideways in the import/building of a project. I have to jump to the mvn command line and often I need to run mvn clean package to execute a "build" that re-sets whatever went sideways. Generally if the network goes away the above command will enable it to work.
> If you know of other commands that should be exposed please let me know.
> I wonder if Update Project should execute this command? I don't know enough about maven to know if this makes sense.
