[~ibuziuk], [~maxandersen], the StatusBar plugin is [this plugin|https://github.com/apache/cordova-plugin-statusbar]. It is used in every quickstart and TicketMonster, since without it, the Cordova apps would violate some iOS7 guidelines involving look and feel of the statusbar. It can be considered critical enough to add some support in Ripple/CordovaSim, not because of it's utility, but because we'd using it more frequently.

As for the dialog, I still haven't dug much into Ripple, but overriding this behavior in Ripple would require forking Ripple or changing it's extending behavior. This prompt is displayed whenever emulation of an API is required but fails; supported plugins are available as Node modules within Ripple. The title of this prompt is coded into the a Node module in Ripple.
