https://access.redhat.com/site/articles/427493 states that JBDS 8 works with EAP versions up to 6.2 and includes 6.2.0 in the bundled installer.

As of JBDS 8 Beta3, this should be changed to support versions up to 6.3 and include 6.3.0, assuming it is made available in time.

But as of Luna M7 (JBDS 8 Beta2), this is no longer true.
