Fix applied upstream (got commit rights on m2eclipse-egit \o/). You can test it after installing/updating m2eclipse-egit from http://central.maven.org/maven2/.m2e/connectors/m2eclipse-egit/0.14.0/N/0.14.0.201406241643/

Now waiting for JBIDE-17694 completion
