Martin Malina commented on JBIDE-16606:
---------------------------------------
After discussion with Max and Rob on irc today, I am inclined to agree that we really need more than 2 profiles - Rob intends to have more differences between "prefer as 7 management" / "do not prefer as 7 management" - some that don't even have UI today. Like deployment using jboss as management.
Also, we agreed, that the current name is not very good - these profiles will not actually prefer management, they will use them exclusively. And in other places, even the non-management profile will use management to some extent (start/stop of local server). So we need to come up with something better.
One more note: [~rob.stryker], can you set the order of profiles in the drop down menu to be sorted alphabetically?

> With the additions of server profiles, servers in the rse profile (or others) do not necessarily require a local runtime. This means in a new server wizard, we don't need to force the user to create a runtime until they're in a profile that requires one.
> This will make changes to the new server wizard workflow which may affect some swt bot tests and documentation
