a) WTP is not something we build. Hence, it's 3rd party, like all the rest of the things we use from Eclipse.org

b) I figured since the build/installation issue was fixed in Jenkins for Beta1/Beta2(master) that I would close JBDS-2977. 

HOWEVER, this issue continues to occur when you build JBDS locally, which is why a second JIRA (with fixversion 8.0.0.GA) was created. 

[~maxandersen] could you try to build JBDS on OSX to see if it occurs there too?
