Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBIDE-16871:
---------------------------------------------

It was also a mistake back in 2006 I've requested many times to fix.

The naming convention we have for everything else is lowercase. including most downloads from jboss.org projects afaics. I checked hibernate, jboss, richfaces, seam and inifinispan so far.

The brand is not JBoss in any of jboss downloads i can find except these. We don't use Org.JBoss.Tools in packages either.

so yes - consistency and avoiding having these kind of discussions continuously is the reason I'm asking it to be fixed.

> URLs should avoid any uppercasing if possible, but since our most recent release versions are 7.1.1.GA and 4.1.2.Final (notice the uppercases) that part should stay.
> But rest of our updatesite urls and zips should start aligning to use same naming convention.
> Not "JBossTools-Updatesite" when it should be "jbosstools-updatesite"
> or "jbosstools-Sources.zip" when it should be "jbosstools-sources.zip".
