Assign to [~snjeza] ... not sure if there's anything you can do about this, or if [~dgolovin] has any ideas. 

Given there's a simple workaround, maybe we just need to have `export SWT_GTK3=0` in the JBDS 8 user guide as a step to do before launching JBDS? cc: [~mmurray]
