it looks like it's easy enough to support both forms of snapshot. The differences are minimal:

* both use ssh
* both stream the output to a file locally
* they only differ in the command being executed:
  * full snapshot does "snapshot"
  * deployment snapshot does "gear archive-deployment"

The relevant rhc code looks as follows:
