Because Beta2 requires Eclipse Luna M7, and therefore the 4.40.0.Beta2 target platform, you have to "help" Eclipse by telling it where to resolve missing deps.

(Once Beta2 is released, and the default TP available for Luna users is updated from the Beta1 version to the Beta2 version, you won't need this step... but until then, you will.)

1. Start Eclipse Luna *M7* (not M6)
2. Help > Install new software... > 
3. Work With: http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/targetplatforms/jbosstoolstarget/4.40.0.Beta2-SNAPSHOT/REPO/ (hit enter)
4. Work With: http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/nightly/core/master/ (hit enter)
5. Select Abridged JBoss Tools, hit Next
