First attempt to move to new installer graphic looks like this: [^jbds8-new-installer-header-incomplete.png]

So obviously we're going to have to reskin the text (darker) and fill the background with the specific shade of grey on the left edge of the graphic.

Or we could left-align the image and move the text beside it. Hmm....
