Merging these changes broke the build at hudson.eclipse.org. After spending about a day on trying to figure this out, I finally gave up and reverted the changes.

The existing build did generate an SDK feature which included source jars for all of the plugins - why was that not sufficient?

Anyway, unless someone smarter than I can figure out what the problem is, I'm going to leave things as they are...
