The difference  that this change gives you is feature source bundling.  That makes it possible for JBTIS/  JBDSIS to carry the source bundles as uncategorized selectable features.  Users can select  the installation of bpmn2 sources.  Otherwise there's no way for me to aggregate your plugin  source bundles.  Take a quick look here:

   http://www.qa.jboss.com/binaries/RHDS/updates/development/luna/integration-stack/aggregate/8.0.0.Alpha2/aggregate/plugins/

The bpmn2 plugins that are there are based on bpmn2 features from  your update site (pulled in via category.xml).  There are no bpmn2 source plugins because there's nothing to indicate that they're there.  If users were updating directly from your update site then this would be fine.  Since they're updating from my aggregated site I need a bpmn2 feature to pull the sources over.
