Thanks Martin Malina. I added the site but have been unable to complete and installation because of conflicts with some parts of the version of the JBDS plugin.

Having said that, thanks to your comment I found the staging site for the JBDS plugin: https://devstudio.redhat.com/updates/8.0-staging/

I have added it and updated to 8.0.0.CR1b and haven't had the problem again since.
