In the past we shipped a patched EAP to be able to ship latest/greatest EAP so it is not unheard of that we do more than just unzip EAP.

But if we can't do it because of $0 then thats fine - just opposite to what we done in past shipping the latest for customers so they did not need to manually patch it after install.

That is unfortunately what they need to do know.
