Max Rydahl Andersen commented on JBDS-3193:
-------------------------------------------

afaik attach_pid is generated by hotspot to let tools like jps/jstack figure out the processes that is running.

It is not something devstudio generates on its own.

Is there a problem with this file ? does it not get deleted on exit or ?

> JBDS 8 always generates .attach_pidXXXX. The file is empty and it is generated in the folder from where you executed the JBDS.
