multiple issues are being intermingled here:

* cordovasim is marked as tech preview - where exactly are you seeing this (just in central or also on the updatesite description) ? it should be in a seperate jira.
* central error about missing connector - this should not happen - sounds like TP is not correct.

[~burrsutter] for now please use JBDS full installer, we'll figure out what is going on with TP here but dont let that stop you from testing the functionallity.
