Andre Dietisheim commented on JBIDE-18301:
------------------------------------------

The reason for this is that contacts-mobile-picketlink-secured is not in the root of the git repo, it is a module in the repo. EGit fails then to correctly detect the git repo as in JBIDE-12459.
This would work correctly if the project was in the root of the repo. I scheduled this bug for 4.2.1.Final since this starts to hurt more and more, many of our quickstarts became modules of a broader repo (wildfly, ticketmonster, etc.).
Closing this issue as duplicate.

> 1. clone git at github.com:gorkem/aerogear-push-quickstarts.git
> 2. add aerogear-push-quickstarts/server/contacts-mobile-picketlink-secured from the repo as a maven project
> 3. Right click to select Configure> New Import Openshift application
> Follow the steps. The wizard fails to complete because it complains about uncommitted changes.
> I think this is probably happening because JGit sees symlinks as uncommitted changes.
