--------------------------------------------------------------------

reopening since this is not duplicate of JBIDE-12459. JBIDE-12459 is not happening any more. EGit is now correctly detecting the git folder in one of the parent folders and autosharing the project, thus our tooling will not create an additional git-repo in the submodule.

> 1. clone git at github.com:gorkem/aerogear-push-quickstarts.git
> 2. add aerogear-push-quickstarts/server/contacts-mobile-picketlink-secured from the repo as a maven project
> 3. Right click to select Configure> New Import Openshift application
> Follow the steps. The wizard fails to complete because it complains about uncommitted changes.
> I think this is probably happening because JGit sees symlinks as uncommitted changes.
