Currently, registry of installed connectors is owned by the discovery framework, lists only connectors totally independently from IUs.. We could imagine Central would check for installed IUs instead of installed discovery connectors and assume that we can say a connector is installed when all its IUs are installed but:this would take much time to resolve (need to query installation and maybe remote sites).
