[~vineet.reynolds] can you try to attach mission control to do a capture while you are running a script?
you need to start the jvm with: -XX:+UnlockCommercialFeatures -XX:+FlightRecorder
then you start mission control (you need atleast java7u40 or newer.
in mission control you can attach to any running java process that have the options above enabled.

btw, is this also happning in the terminal on windows?
