HttpUrlConnection does not redirect requests automatically if the protocols are different. In our case it's HTTP -> HTTPS.
So we have to do it manually OR/AND change the original URL for JBDS to avoid redirection at all.
See my PR which supports HTTP->HTTPS redirection for master -> https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-base/pull/319. This commit is also valid for 4.2.x
