I believe this also needs to be in 4.40.x branch. 4.40.0 is our "minimal" binary compatibility set.
[~fbricon] Witll the dependency on this newer mavenarchiver be a "static" one (depending on API or other static stuff), or can users still have the older mavenarchiver ?
